My background is in broadcast media. I started working at a small New Brunswick radio station on weekends at the age of 13 while I was in school. After graduating I worked for several private radio stations including CJCJ Woodstock, CKCM Grand Falls Newfoundland, and CFNB Radio Atlantic Fredericton as a Program Director, Announcer, Music Director and Production Manager.
In 1991 I moved to CBC Radio and Television in Fredericton as a Master Control Technician, Information Morning Technician/Director, Announcer, and Producer. Eventually with the closing of many CBC Master Control Rooms across the country, I moved into television. There I worked as an ENG editor, and Assistant Director for the CBC-TV supper-hour news. I retired from CBC at the end of 2014.
I started Sight And Sound over thirty-five years ago as a weekend wedding photographer. As time went on wedding videos became popular so I switched from stills to video.
Over the years I’ve built the business by adding various services including 8mm Film transfer, videotape transfer, CD-DVD Duplicating, scanning photos, 35mm slides and more. I also shoot photos and edit drone videos for our MyNewBrunswick.ca website.
I look forward to working with you. Give me a call and let’s discuss your needs.
